VERMA'S RESIDENCE

The design brief was to design Verma’s residence located in Vaishali nagar, Jaipur in modern theme. The warm wood has coupled with the neutral gray. Vertical wooden slats used in the facade to create a semi-private screen for the inhabitants. Here the overhang and warm lighting enlighten the stone clad wall making the building more inviting. The design of the building is simple, clean and natural.

Balcony as well as the entry space accented with a splash of green planters adding another layer of refreshment to the overall facade of the building. Use of metal jalis, railings and intricate designs on the doors is adding adornment to the building. Large windows provide plenty of air and sunlight for the inhabitants and maintain the ventilation of the building. All materials used subtly provide warmth and texture to a space without detracting from the overall feel.
